The UFF said that after four day training camp in Tashkent, the Uzbek team will head to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to take part in four-nation tournament along with Vietnam, Italy and Kuwait.

Jose Maria Mendez invited thirteen players to training camp. Good display in Uzbek league helped Gulom Mamajanov to receive invitation to the national team. Uzbekistan coach Mendez also invited Davron Choriev of Locomotive.

However, one of leaders Umid Holmatov will not be able to help his team as he received injury in the Uzbek league match.
