Bakhodir Ahmedov said: “I am satisfied with current state of players. Our team is ready to Asian Championship, which will start on 30 April. We want to show solid performance.”

According to head coach, two leading players will miss tournament due to injuries. Dilshod Irsaliev and Nodir Elibaev received injuries and will not recover in time for the tournament. But head coach said that there are players who can replace them.

He said that final squad will be determined after matches with Iran. He noted that young players will be used in these two friendly matches.

Uzbekistan skipper Shukhrat Tadjibaev said that the team will do its best to achieve good result in the Asian Championship. He said that despite two key players are sidelined, the team will make its best to make happy its fans.

Asian Futsal Championship will be held in Vietnam from 30 April to 10 May. Uzbekistan will face Japan, Kyrgyzstan and South Korea in the group stage.
