Iran was the only team, which Uzbekistan could not defeat in Asian continent. However, it is worth to mention that Iran club did not include its strongest players. Iran team changed fully compared to the AFC Futsal Championship 2010.

Iran started strongly, but conceded the goal first. Dilshod Irsaliev opened the score in the fourth minute. Uzbekistan goalkeeper Rustam Umarov passed to Ardus teammate Irsaliev, who used his chance. Iran had chances to score, but Rustam Umarov denied them.

Sixteen minutes later, Irsaliev doubled the lead after free-kick. After that Iran had four chances to score, but Shukhrat Tadjibaev scores for Uzbekistan in counter-attack – 3:0.

In the second half, Ardus forward Dilshod Irsaliev recorded hat-trick and set final scoreline in the match.

Uzbekistan coach Sergio Sapo experimented various tactics and new players in the final minutes of the match, but this does not change the result.

Uzbekistan now will play against Kazakhstan champions Qayrat on 14 October.
