Uzbekistan futsal team defeats Guadalajara
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan futsal team claimed a 5-3 victory in its second friendly match in Spain against local team Guadalajara, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
Jose Maria Mendez opened the score in the fifth minute through effort of Khurshid Tajibaev, but after two minutes the Spanish side scored an equalizer. Jamoliddin Sharipov scored Uzbekistan’s second goal.
In the second half, Khurshid Tajibaev made a brace, while Nodir Elibaev and Dilshod Rakhmatov netted one goal each. In last two minutes, Spanish side scored two more goals.
Uzbekistan's training camp in Spain will last till 22 May. After the camp, Uzbekistan team will head to Dubai to participate in the final stage of the AFC Futsal Championship.
