The press service of Uzbekneftega said that the contract, which was signed on 5 January 2012 between Uztransgaz joint stock company (subsidiary of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company) and Tadjiktransgaz joint stock company.

In line with the agreement, Uzbekistan guaranteed to supply 45 million cubic meters of gas to Tajikistan for the first quarter of 2012.

The liabilities in line with the contract were fully executed and in this connection, various insinuations on suspension of gas supplies to Tajikistan have no grounds, Uzbekneftegaz said.
