Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry expresses concern over events in Kyrgyz Republic
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Public and people of Uzbekistan expressed great anxiety and concern in connection with events, which are taking place in south Kyrgyz Republic in Osh city, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

Unpunished facts of murders, violence, massacre, burning and plundering of peaceful population, committed by gangster groups in streets and houses of Osh city raises feeling of indignation by all international community, the document said.

The fact that all these murders, violence, massacre and burning of houses are carried out against the Uzbek Diaspora, living in Osh city and region, creates feeling of intolerance and serious concern, the statement said.

It added that there are all grounds to say that such actions are organized, managed and provocative. They have far-reaching goal to provoke inter-ethnical conflict, create intolerable conditions for minority nations, living in Kyrgyz Republic.

The Uzbek ministry expressed no doubt that all these are committed at incitement of the powers, whose interests are far from those of Kyrgyz people.

The statement said that all events, taking place in Osh city, do not meet traditional long-term friendship and cooperation relations among nations in Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbek Foreign Ministry expressed assurance that experienced people of Kyrgyzstan and its healthy powers have enough wisdom and life experience for restraining criminality to stabilize situation in the country and ensure peaceful and prosperous future of multinational Kyrgyz Republic.
