Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first half of 2024, Uzbekistan’s gas production totaled 22.36 billion cubic meters, which is a 5.1% decrease compared to the same period of last year, according to the State Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.
Oil production during this period decreased from 391,300 tons in January-June 2023 to 364,600 tons in the first half of 2024, marking a 6.8% decline.
At the same time, Uzbekistan increased its production of gas condensate to 624,700 tons, which is a 2.7% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Coal production also rose from 2.49 million tons to 2.64 million tons during the reporting period, representing a 5.9% increase.
From January to June 2024, Uzbekistan produced 674,500 tons of automotive gasoline, which is a 3.6% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
In contrast, diesel fuel production amounted to 499,600 tons, which is a 7.4% decrease compared to the same period of last year.
