Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2024, Uzbekistan extracted 33.48 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which represents a 4.8% decrease compared to the same period in 2023, according to data from the State Statistics Agency.
Oil production decreased by 7.3%, amounting to 542.2 thousand tons, compared to 585.1 thousand tons in January-September 2023.
At the same time, gas condensate extraction increased by 2.2%, reaching 922.1 thousand tons.
Coal production saw significant growth, rising from 4.46 million tons to 5.33 million tons, an increase of 19.4%.
The production of gasoline during this period amounted to 995.2 thousand tons, which is 1.1% lower compared to the same period last year.
Diesel fuel production also showed a slight decrease of 0.2%, reaching 777.8 thousand tons.
