Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, online negotiations were organized between the head of the Avvali halva production enterprise in Qoqand, Abdulatif Kholmatov, and the general director of the Omani company East Coast Jewels LLC, Yasser al-Nabhani.

According to Dunyo news agency, during the negotiations the prospects for exporting Uzbek halva to the Oman market were discussed. The Omani side showed significant interest in Uzbek halva.

As a result of negotiations, the first batch of halva was delivered to Oman. Approximately 150 kg of products were transported to Muscat and distributed through retail outlets in the city.

“This product is of high quality both in taste and packaging. We are confident that Uzbek halva will soon become one of the most popular products in Oman,” said Yasser al-Nabhani.
