Uzbekistan exports about 200 tonnes of apples to the Novosibirsk region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Since the beginning of August, 198.9 tonnes of apples from Uzbekistan have been imported to the territory of Novosibirsk region (Russia), the Dunyo news agency reports, citing the regional Internet publication infopro54.ru.

This is almost 80 percent of all apples imported into the region from abroad.

All consignments for quarantine products were accompanied by phytosanitary certificates of the sending countries, according to a press release from the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor.

The fruits were inspected at the phytosanitary quarantine post "Karasuk" when crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, as well as when entering local markets and temporary storage warehouses. The apples have already arrived for sale in Novosibirsk and Novosibirsk region, and are also allowed for further movement across Russian territory.
