Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Between January and November 2024, Uzbekistan exported 125,200 tons of carrots, valued at US$9.6 million, according to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.
The majority of exports were sent to neighboring countries. Kazakhstan was the largest importer, receiving 50,276.9 tons of carrots.
Kyrgyzstan followed with 41,713.3 tons, while Russia, a traditional trading partner, purchased 30,537.1 tons.
Significant quantities were also supplied to Belarus (1,262.8 tons) and Latvia (614.1 tons). An additional 823.2 tons were shipped to other countries.
