Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Uzbekistan exported 4.3 million square meters of carpets worth a total of US$13 million from January to July 2024, according to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency.

The countries receiving the largest quantity of Uzbek carpets during this period are:

- Azerbaijan: 1.22 million square meters

- Kyrgyzstan: 1,1 million square meters

- Afghanistan: 807,300 square meters

- Russia: 542,500 square meters

- Kazakhstan: 328,700 square meters

- Tajikistan: 214,800 square meters

- Turkmenistan: 38,700 square meters

- USA: 14,500 square meters

- Other countries: 0.8 thousand square meters
