The EU delegation was led by the head of the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia Unit of the European Union Victor Andres Maldonado, while the delegation of Uzbekistan led by the head of MFERIT Elyor Ganiev.
During the session, the sides were familiarized with macroeconomic development in Uzbekistan and the European Union. The sides discussed current state and perspectives of development of bilateral trade and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU.
The special attention were paid to cooperation in such sectors as energy, transport and further perspectives of financial-technical interaction.
