Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On the procedure for regulating wages in kind” was adopted.

Payment in kind is prohibited, except in cases established by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The document establishes the procedure for remuneration in kind. This form of payment is allowed:

- when calculating food and agricultural products produced and grown by the employer for consumption by the employee or his family;

- when calculating in the form of food and housing for temporary residence when the employer hires housekeepers.

in this form is allowed with the consent of the employee and is displayed in the employment contract, while the amount of payment in kind should not exceed 30% of the salary.

With deductions from wages up to 50%, the amount of payment in kind should not exceed 10% of the salary; with deductions of more than 50%, payment in kind is not allowed.

When paying in kind, it is prohibited to:

apply this form of payment for persons whose salary is lower than the established first category according to the Unified wage rate scale;

to establish the amount of the cost of agricultural products and food products above their cost;

carry out mutual settlements with alcohol, tobacco products, medicines, cannabis, as well as vegetable and other agricultural products, the sale of which is prohibited;

setting the cost of food and payment for temporary accommodation

domestic workers above market value.
