President of Uzbekistan renamed the Federation of Equestrian Sport into the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sport of Uzbekistan.
The federation will assist horse breeding organizations and farms in increasing the number of the Karabaers and Akhal-Teke tribal breeds, as well as high-value sports horses, the resolution said.
The document noted that a modern complex for breeding and growing horses of the Karabaire breed will be created in Kashkadarya region by 2018. The complex will be created with the support of Uzbekneftegaz.
In Tashkent region, a stud farm - Uzbegim Otlari Ltd. - will be established for breeding of Akhalteke horses.
Another stud farm - Uzbek sport otlari - will be engaged in breeding of sports horses.
The resolution said that Central Hippodrome in Tashkent will be reconstructed and equipped in accordance with the requirements of the International Equestrian Federation in 2017-2019.
On the territory of the hippodrome, the Center for Quarantine of Horses and Veterinary Medicine will be located, the resolution of the Uzbek President said
Shavkat Mirziyoyev granted the right of the Federation and its members to export sports horses. At the same time, enterprises are exempt from compulsory sale of foreign curency.
Till 1 January 2021, the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Uzbekistan is exempted from paying all taxes and mandatory payments, as well as customs payments for import of sports equipment, horse-drawn carriages, sports horses, pedigree products, feed and feed additives, vitamins, veterinary drugs, Equipment and materials not produced in Uzbekistan.
Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, Employment and Labor Relations will ensure, at the request of the Federation, registration of all necessary permits to attract foreign specialists to horse breeding and equestrian sport.
