Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Togolese Republic, Robert Dussey, signed a joint communiqué establishing diplomatic relations.

Togo has become the 155th country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic ties.

“Undoubtedly, we have great opportunities to create mutually beneficial cooperation with countries on the African continent,” noted the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
