Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Burundi, Albert Shingiro, during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
"Burundi has become the 152nd country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations. Together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Burundi, we signed a joint communiqué at the UN headquarters,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister noted.
“This document will serve as a fundamental legal basis for unlocking the potential of bilateral cooperation between our two countries,” noted Bakhtiyor Saidov in his Telegram channel.
