Uzbekistan establishes additional non-working days in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 22 December, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of days off in 2024.”

In 2024, all employees (regardless of the type of workweek) will have an additional rest on 22 March (Friday), 11 April (Thursday), 18 June (Tuesday), 3 September (Tuesday) and 31 December  (Tuesday).

Citizens who work six days a week will have an additional rest in 2024 on 2 January (Tuesday), 23 March (Saturday), 12 April (Friday), 31 August (Saturday) and 30 December (Monday).

For employees with a five-day working week, the days off are moved from 6 January to 2 January, from 13 April to 12 April, and from 14 December to 30 December.
