Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national football team was unable to secure a victory in its opening match of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025 against Oman.

The match, held in Tashkent, ended in a 1–1 draw.

Oman’s Al Rawani put his team ahead in the fourth minute, but Pakhtakor midfielder Khojimat Erkinov leveled the score in the 55th minute.

Uzbekistan will play its next match on 2 September against Turkmenistan, which also drew 1–1 in its opening game against Kyrgyzstan.
