Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An Iranian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Road and Urban Development Sayed Kemal Khodianfar visited Uzbekistan.
First Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Mamanbiy Omarov received the Iranian delegation.
During the meeting, representatives of Uzbekistan and Iran discussed the current state of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, as well as prospects for its development.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of creating favorable conditions for national carriers in the process of international cargo transportation by road, establishing fees and charges for transportation on a parity basis, and developing international transport corridors.
The parties also discussed the existing problems of cargo transportation through Iran with freight forwarding companies of Uzbekistan.
