Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis recently reviewed a bill in the first reading aimed at improving the system for supporting the donor movement in Uzbekistan.
The document proposes significant privileges for individuals awarded the "Honored Donor of the Republic of Uzbekistan" badge. Among the proposed benefits are the right to an annual leave at a convenient time, free use of all types of public transport (except for route and linear taxis), and priority access to treatment at sanatoriums and resorts.
The bill aims to support and encourage donors, foster a culture of voluntary donation among citizens, and develop the donor movement with the participation of the wider public.
Following discussions, the bill was adopted by the deputies in the first reading.
