Uzbekistan develops draft agreements on air traffic servicing with Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- State Aviation Inspection of Uzbekistan and Center UzAeroNavigation developed new draft agreements between the Government of Uzbekistan, the Government of Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Tajikistan on transfer responsibility to servicing air traffic.

The draft agreement with Kyrgyz Republic was directed to the Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry to agree it with the Kyrgyz side in line with legislation, State Aviation Inspection said.

The draft agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Tajikistan on transfer responsibility to servicing air traffic was developed in connection with denouncement of earlier agreement dated 1993 from 26 June 2010. The agreement was agreed with all interested parties and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

The project was developed within cooperation among air-navigation providers of the Central Asian region in line with requirement of appendix 11 “Servicing air traffic” to Chicago Convention and regulates mutual responsibility on serving air traffic.

The draft agreements were developed in Euro control format and envisage regulation of air traffic without infringement of principle that each state has full and exclusive sovereignty over air space in their territory.
