Uzbekistan kicked off their AFC U-19 Championship Bahrain with the victory over Tajikistan.
In the Group D opener, Uzbekistan came from behind to clinch a 2-1 victory over Tajikistan.
Tajikstan captain Kraomatullo Saidov’s looping header opened the score on 20 minutes of the match.
Substitute Sayidjamol Davlatjonov scored an equalizer on 67 minutes, while Yakhshiboev took the plaudits with his game-winning turn.
In next match, Uzbekistan will face Australia on 18 October.
