Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 29 November, a delegation led by Minister of Innovation Development Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov visited iCreate (International Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology), as well as DevX startup development company in Gujarat (India).
Leading experts in the field of entrepreneurship, research, innovation, information technology, engineering and other fields work at the iCreate International Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, which is located in Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat, the country's leading innovation region.
DevX is a large innovative structure with more than 20 years of experience in the field of technical expertise and corporate communications, provides assistance to corporations in solving business problems of varying complexity. This, in turn, will serve to create additional jobs in the country, further improve the entrepreneurial landscape of the region.
Within the framework of the visit, the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and iCreate (International Center for entrepreneurship and Technology), as well as DevX, signed memorandums of understanding.
The signing ceremony of the memorandum was attended by the Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurahmonov and the Minister of Education of Gujarat State of India Sri Bupendrasinh Chudasama.
According to the agreements, a number of works will be carried out to strengthen bilateral cooperation between startups of the two countries in the field of research and innovation. Within the framework of cooperation, start-up companies created in Uzbekistan will have the opportunity to transfer their technologies to India. In the same way, representatives of Indian technology startups, small and medium-sized businesses will visit Uzbekistan and get acquainted with the conditions for innovation in our country.
An agreement was reached on the creation of a Technology Hub in the Center for Advanced Technologies, together with partners from India, combining a number of joint startup projects. The "technology hub" is aimed at uniting authors and executors of startup projects, specialists in the field of these startup projects, mass events, thematic lectures, seminars, conferences, and also events promoting the development of science and innovations will be held at TechHub.
