The system is created in accordance with the resolution of the Board of the Central Bank from 8 April 2017. The Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan approved the document on 15 May 2017.

The new system will be integrated with international payment systems, the Central Bank’s resolution said.

The document said that the joint venture “"United International Processing Center” will be established in Uzbekistan. The enterprise will perform functions of the processing center of GlobUz.

GlobUzCard will establish relations with international payment systems such as Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay International, JCB, American Express, Diners Club and others to conduct transactions in foreign currency with use of GlobUz banking cards in foreign states and foreign banking cards in Uzbekistan.
