According to experts, the document will give new impulse for boosting activities of NGOs, which are main subjects of social partnership and civil society as a whole.

The working group, created from representatives of the state organizations and civil society, developed the draft law within several years. Currently, the law is discussed publically. For example, on 20-21 April, the events were held in all regions directed to discussion of the draft law. The participants shared their recommendations on further improvement of the document.

It is planned to hold the second stage of discussions on 29 April in all regions of Uzbekistan. Institute for Studying Civil Society created special page on its website (www.iscs.uz), which will serve as platform for discussion of the draft law.
