Uzbekistan creates consortium for supporting out-works
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A consortium for supporting out-works is created in Uzbekistan, which will allocate loans to home-based workers and customer enterprises of home-based products.

On 24 May 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to create additional favorable conditions for further development of home-based work”.

The consortium for supporting out-works is created by commercial banks of Uzbekistan. The authorized capital of the consortium will make up 50 billion soums.

According to the presidential resolution, the consortium will provide loans to home-workers and customer enterprises of home-based products for purchase of modern machinery, equipment, raw materials and materials on the security of the purchased goods.

They can receive loans for production of confectionery, bakery, sewing, knitwear, haberdashery and furniture, repair and maintenance of electrical products, as well as gardening and improvement services.

The resolution said that the fixed rate for personal income tax will be set at 7.5% for home-workers.

Uzbek leader released the consortium from paying all kinds of taxes and other mandatory contributions to state trust funds. The released funds should be directed to increase the charter capital.
