Uzbekistan continues work at the Central Asian power grid
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan continues work at the Central Asian power grid, 24.kg reported quoting the first deputy director of National Electricity Power of Kyrgyzstan Murat Durusaliev.

Durusaliev said Uzbekistan continues parallel work wit energy system of the Central Asian power grid. He said the Kyrgyz side did not receive any notification about pullout from the Uzbek side.

He said any side, pulling out from the grid, should notify all sides three days before withdrawal. Kyrgyz official said the time needed for preparation works. However, he said Tajik side called the Kyrgyz side and received notification on Uzbekistan’s pullout.

Murat Durusaliev said withdrawal of any country from the grid will have serious consequences, including power shortages and emergency switch offs. He added that any country in Central Asia can work in separate mode.
