Within the implementation of measures on technical and technological modernization of agriculture production sector, Uzbekistan completed construction and reconstruction of 677.9 km of collectors in nine months of 2012 due to resources of the Fund for Irrigated Land Reclamation.

Some 11,200 km of inter-farm and on-farm drainage system, 340.1 km closed drainage system, 720 drainage wells and 8 drainage pumping stations were rehabilitated in the reporting period.

Through Uzqishloqmashlizing (Uzbek Agriculture Machinery Leasing), some 793 units of agriculture were leased in nine months of 2012, including 658 tractors and 135 grain harvestors.
