Pravda Vostoka newspaper said that 33 of the objects were commissioned to exploitation. At the same time, the state commissions are receiving 54 objects. Internal finishing works are carried out at 17 objects.

During 11 years, Republican Fund for Development of Children Sports constructed, reconstructed and repaired 1,488 stadiums, complexes, halls, swimming pools and other sport objects.

The newspaper said that major part of them was opened and successfully works in rural areas, remote districts and villages.

Executive director of the fund Erkin Iskanderov said that all sport objects were equipped with modern equipment. He said that this year, some 4.1 billion soums were issued to this purpose. He underlined that 116 sport equipments of total 120 were produced in Uzbekistan.

Erkin Iskanderov underlined that new sport industry was formed in Uzbekistan. Over 40 enterprises, companies and firms produce sport equipments from local raw materials. The products meet international standards, he said.
