Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan apprehended attack of Israeli navy to international humanitarian convoy, heading to Gaza Sector, with deep concern and alarm, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

“Condemning this tragic incident, which caused causalities, the Uzbek side hopes for early resolution of the situation by lifting the blockade of Gaza sector by Israel and calls for full implementation of corresponding resolutions of the UN Security Council,” the message reads.

The message said Uzbekistan believes that it is necessary to prevent growth of tension and escalation of violence, which could have unpredictable consequences.
