Uzbekistan will face Uruguay in quarterfinals of FIFA U-17 World Cup, after they defeat Australia with the score 4-0.

Aleksei Evstafeev said the team is happy to win and hope to reach final. He said that his players were good in defence and attacks, which resulted in four scored goals.

“Unfortunately, we will have to leave Torreon, which will become like our second hope. I hope that fans will join us in Monterrey,” he added.

Australia coach Jan Versleijen said that the result is appropriate. “I want to congratulate Uzbekistan with victory, which was concentrated and deserved victory. We know that it will be difficult match and players should not loss self-control.”

Quarterfinal match between Uzbekistan and Uruguay will be held in Monterrey on 3 July 2011. The winner of the tournament will be determined on 10 July.
