Uzbekistan Cinema Days are held in Tajikistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Cinema Days are being held in Tajikistan from 15 to 20 April.

On 15 April, the delegation of Uzbekistan arrived in Tajikistan to hold the Cinema Days of Uzbekistan. The delegation of guests was met at Dushanbe International Airport by responsible persons in accordance with Tajik traditions of hospitality.

During these days, feature films “Abdullo Aripov”, “Judge”, “Transformation” and “Long Live the Spouse!” will be shown in cinemas in Dushanbe and in the cultural palaces of the cities of Gissar, Vakhdat and Varzob.

The Cinema Days of Uzbekistan will begin on 16 April at 17:00 at the Navruz cinema with a screening of the feature film Abdullo Aripov.

At the same time, during this period, a meeting of the Joint Commission of Cinematographers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be held to develop the script for the feature film “Shining of the Stars: Jami and Navoi”, and the script will be fully edited and analyzed.

Also, as part of the Cinema Days of Uzbekistan, on 17 April at 11:00 a.m. the feature film “Transformation” will be shown at the Palace of Culture of the Varzob district.

On 18 April at 10:00 a.m., the feature film “Judge” will be presented to film lovers at the Palace of Culture in the city of Gissar.

On 19 April at 11:00 a.m. the feature film “Abdullo Aripov” will be shown in Vahdat.

The Cinema Days of Uzbekistan will end on 19 April at 18:00 at the Vatan cinema with the screening of the feature film “Long Live the Spouse!”

The delegation of of Uzbekistan will visit the gardens and squares of the city of Dushanbe, as well as the beautiful and pleasant places of Gissar, Vakhdat and Varzob region.

The Uzbekistan Cinema Days will lay a favorable foundation for the further development and improvement of cooperation between Tajik and Uzbek filmmakers and will serve to strengthen friendship and camaraderie between the two neighboring peoples.
