The Uzbek side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs Bakhodir Ahmedov, Deputy Minister of Public Education A. Holbekov and Director of Center for Certification and Computerization of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs.

They discussed issues of further deepening cooperation between two nations in various areas. The Chinese side informed was informed about potential of Uzbekistan in culture and art, education, culture, sort, tourism and readiness to develop relations in these areas.

The head of Chinese delegation, Vice Culture Minister of China Zhao Shahua said that the activity of the sub-committee on cultural-humanitarian cooperation will be important platform for cooperation of ties. She expressed hope that outlined plans will help to strengthen mutual understanding and trust between people of Uzbekistan and China.

At the session, the sides highly rated results of the Uzbekistan Culture Week in China, which was held in 2011. It was said that Chinese people were impressed with culture of Uzbekistan.

It was said that collectives from China are successfully participating at International Festival Sharq Taronalari in Samarkand and concert halls in Tashkent. It is expected that China Culture Week will be held in Uzbekistan in October, which will include several events.

The next session of the sub-committee of cultural-humanitarian cooperation of the Committee on cooperation between the Governments of Uzbekistan and China will be held in Uzbekistan in 2013.
