Norma.uz reported that the decision was approved to increase targeted assignment and payment of allowances through citizens’ self-governing bodies.

The report said that it is necessary to submit a certificate on salary of all family members for last three months. Earlier, they should provide the certificate on salary for last 12 months.

It added that maternity leave allowance will be assigned if aggregate income of family per each person does not exceed 1.5 size of average monthly salary (earlier it was at least 1.5 size of average monthly salary).

Average monthly salary will be calculated for last three months compared to 12 months earlier. New rules come into force on 1 October 2012.
