Uzbekistan cancels autumn Umrah due to A/H1N1 virus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Muslims Board adopted decision to cancel autumn Umrah due to spread of A/H1N1 virus in Saudi Arabia.

The Board said pilgrims, registered for autumn Umrah, can visit holy places of Islam next Ramadan month.

The decision is directed to protect population from the virus and prevent its penetration to Uzbekistan.
