The delegation of Cambodia was headed by the state secretary of the Ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation Ouch Borith.
The sides exchanged opinion on perspectives of expanding cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest. It was stated that it is important to eliminate information shortage about countries.
The sides also underlined that it is necessary to strengthen legal base, which will serve as reliable guarantee to boost cooperation in various sectors.
The sides evaluated situation in Central and Southern-Eastern Asia. The sides considered interaction between two states within the international organizations, including the United Nations and possible of establishment of partnership of Uzbekistan with the ASEAN.
The Uzbek side received request of Phnom Penh on supporting its candidacy as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2013-2014.
After the talks, the sides agreed to continue practice of political consultations.
