Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Umid Shadiyev, the Chairman of Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Zaritsa Dinkova, the Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria, within the framework of the 25th General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization.

During the meeting, the Bulgarian guest was closely introduced to opportunities and privileges created for tourism sector in Uzbekistan, as well as main directions of Tourism Sector Development Strategy.

The guest noted that Bulgaria was paying a great attention to development of tourism, and cooperation with Uzbekistan in this direction is of great importance.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to expand participation in exhibitions dedicated to tourism, facilitate the establishment of direct contacts between representatives of tourism business, as well as jointly organize promotional events.
