Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 April 2024, Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Federative Republic of Brazil hosted the third round of political consultations virtually.

During the political consultations, the parties exchanged views on the agenda of Uzbekistan-Brazil relations and identified priority areas for the development of cooperation in the near future.

They discussed the issues of intensifying political dialogue, realizing the untapped potential of cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres, developing inter-parliamentary contacts, strengthening cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as establishing ties with leading Brazilian universities.

The agenda of the negotiations also included the issues of building partnerships in the agricultural, textile and chemical industries, expanding cooperation in the field of tourism and combating climate change.

An exchange of views took place on the issues of interaction within international organizations.
