Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, the Uzcharmsanoat association and its member enterprises are on a working visit to Minsk. The purpose of the trip is to develop trade and economic cooperation and implement new projects between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

During the visit, potential partners are provided with information about the products produced by Uzbek enterprises, the current state and export and investment potential of the industry, and the opportunities created for investors by the state.

On the first day of the visit, enterprises of Uzbekistan, such as “Classica Shoes International”, “Persona”, “Ravоn Taraqqiyot Orzusi” and “San + One”, as well as Belarusian “Trud”, “Lida Shoe Factory”, “Minsk Experimental Furniture Plant”, "Legpromrazvitie" held B2B meetings to conclude export and investment agreements. In particular, during negotiations between the company “Classica Shoes International” and “Legpromrazvitie” an agreement was reached on the supply of footwear products to the Republic of Belarus in the amount of US$1.5 million.

As a result of the meeting, bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation was established between the Belarusian enterprise “Trud” and the Uzbek enterprise “Persona”. The parties considered the possibility of establishing a joint venture in Uzbekistan. The enterprises also entered into an agreement for the supply of products from Uzbekistan to Belarus on outsourcing terms.
