Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan bears a special responsibility for the future of Central Asia, stated Abdulaziz Kamilov, Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Foreign Policy, in an article for the newspaper "Narodnoe Slovo."

The former Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that this responsibility stems from Uzbekistan’s geographical position, as it borders all the Central Asian countries.

Kamilov also emphasized that Uzbekistan is home to communities from all the peoples of the region, highlighting the need to maintain good-neighborly relations.

He further pointed out that Uzbekistan’s development directly depends on establishing and maintaining positive relations with its neighbors.
