Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the First Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Jamshid Abdusalomov, held talks with Vera Shcherbina, First Vice-Governor of Primorsky Krai and Chairperson of the Government.
The discussions focused on developing and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism sector, increasing the flow of tourists, sharing experiences in developing tourism infrastructure, opening new tourism routes, exchanging personnel, improving transportation links between regions, particularly by increasing the number of flights, and promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in Russia’s Far East.
Vera Shcherbina noted that Uzbekistan is a highly appealing destination for the region’s residents. "In Primorsky Krai, not many people are yet aware of Uzbekistan’s tourist attractions. We will do our best to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in the region and to increase the mutual flow of tourists."
