Uzbekistan is presented its tourism potential with a single national stand. The delegation included representatives of government agencies and private travel companies, the press service of the State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan said.

This year, over 40,000 representatives of the tourism industry from 83 countries are taking part in the exhibition.

The delegation of Uzbekistan held meetings with representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, deputy director of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB), heads of regional authorities of Turkey, in particular, mayors of the cities of Urgup, Eskishehir, Kusadasi, representatives of foreign tourism companies and funds mass information.

In particular, during negotiations with the heads of the municipalities of the cities of Eskisehir and Kusadasi, the Turkish colleagues showed great interest in establishing close cooperation by providing a regular tourist flow in both directions, as well as working out the issues of establishing friendly relations with the cities of Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek side provided information on the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in the sphere of tourism. Also Uzbekistan’s opportunities for organizing pilgrimage tourism was presented.
