As solid proof for their supremacy over group A, the Uzbekistan U-20 side managed to beat ex- co leaders Qatar by a hefty score-line of 3-0.
Shuharat Mukhammadiev opened the score for Asia’s runners-up on 17 minutes, while two more were added by Kenja Turaev and Doston Abdurahmonov on 54 and 76 minutes respectively.
In the other night fixture, Belarus thrashed humble Malaysia 4-0, a result that came pretty late since both teams were eliminated to the benefit of Uzbekistan and Qatar.
