Uzbekistan approves order on export, import of software
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan approved a regulation on export and import of software. It was approved with joint resolution of the State Committee of Communication, Information and Telecommunication, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade, State Customs Committee and Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The document said that software developers can export their products by signing direct agreement or via online shops without contracts. They can conduct online sales if they were included to national registrar of software developers.

The agreements on exports of software is registered in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan, the document said.

The software developers should submit an application to accept deal on export of software via online-shop without agreement to the bank to export their products. The bank cannot request other documents. The bank registers the deals on sales of software via online shop in its registrar.

The bank opens case for each deal via online shop and records all documents, related with it, the regulation said.

The revenue in hard currency will be directed to the hard currency account of the software developer.

The software developers, which were excluded from the National registrar, should notify the bank about it within three days.

The import agreements of contracts will be conducted in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan. Deals via online shops could be conducted without import contracts.
