Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree on the conscription of Uzbek citizens for compulsory military service and the discharge of servicemen who have completed their term.

According to the document, in March-April 2025, eligible citizens of conscription age who do not have the right to deferment or exemption will be called up for service.

Additionally, citizens fit for military service but not subject to conscription this year will be enrolled in the mobilization reserve.

Servicemen who have completed their mandatory military term will be discharged into the reserve during March-April 2025.
