Uzbekistan and UAE expand cooperation in education
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) held talks with Awwad Al-Khalaf, Rector of Al-Qasimia University, based in Sharjah, UAE, to discuss prospects for educational cooperation.
First Deputy Chairman of the CCI, Davron Kurbanov, provided an overview of Uzbekistan’s large-scale reforms, particularly in creating a favorable business environment and attracting foreign investment.
Awwad Al-Khalaf expressed Al-Qasimia University’s interest in supporting talented Uzbek students and entrepreneurs, emphasizing plans to expand scholarship opportunities for bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
The discussions also covered collaboration in IT, marketing, and information technology. Special attention was given to the establishment of an Al-Qasimia University training center in Uzbekistan, supported by the CCI, which aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of Uzbek youth and future entrepreneurs.
