Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek Ambassador Abdullaziz Akkulov met with the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al-Awar, Dunyo news agency reported.

The meeting highlighted the rapid development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE based on mutual trust and dialogue established between the leaders of the two countries. Noteworthy achievements were noted in the fields of trade, economy, and cultural-humanitarian relations.

During the discussion, issues were raised regarding the intensification of cooperation in migration, protection of labor migrants’ rights, development of direct ties between leading universities and research centers of both countries, and fostering cooperation in the field of engineering.

The Emirati side was extended an invitation to participate in the Central Asian Educational Forum, which will be held in Tashkent on October 16-17.
