Uzbekistan and Türkiye discuss implementation of the "Action Plan" for economic cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting of the Working Group was held in Tashkent to review the progress of tasks outlined in the "Action Plan" from the 7th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
The discussions brought together representatives from key ministries and agencies of both countries. The Turkish delegation was led by Hakkı Buruncu, Director of the Department at the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye, while the Uzbek side was represented by specialists from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, along with experts from relevant agencies and industry organizations.
During the meeting, a detailed assessment of the implementation of the "Action Plan" was conducted. Participants proposed concrete solutions to address existing barriers in various sectors and discussed measures to accelerate key projects.
Additionally, both sides outlined next steps in preparation for the 8th session of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Forum, scheduled to take place in Tashkent later this year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and agreed to continue systematic efforts to achieve their shared economic goals.
