Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 September 2024, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with the President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), Bagdat Amreev.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the 9th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank in Samarkand, noting the significant interest of international investors, including representatives from Turkic Council countries, in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, they discussed plans for launching new investment projects in key areas such as energy, transportation, and infrastructure development. Special attention was given to programs supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, which play a crucial role in stimulating economic growth and creating jobs.

The parties emphasized the importance of developing joint mechanisms to achieve economic development goals and the rational use of the resources of the Turkic Investment Fund for promising projects.

At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to enhance cooperation and actively implement significant projects in priority sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy.
